Valentines Day is the traditional day of love, and as part of that tradition we send Valentines cards to our wife, girlfriend, husband, boyfriend, and if we are single we send a card to the person we would like to be in a relationship with.

As Part of the card sending tradition, we all like to add a little poem or verse in the card for the recipient, usually along the lines of, Roses are red, violets are blue, honey is sweet, and so are you. Not very imaginative if you ask me this poem has been around since Adam and Eve first met.
Writing your own poetry for your intended recipient, shows that you have imagination, shows that you have a sensitive side to you, shows that you really care and the rewards are greater than if you use a poem that is as old as the hills.
You will also be surprised at how easy it is, you don’t have to be a literary genius, to write a poem and it doesn’t even have to rhyme
